INFPs Unite!

Is this you?

Are you feeling stuck in a boring job or career, struggling to get out of bed in the morning and drag yourself into work because you just feel sooooo uninspired?  If so, you could very well be an INFP (Introverted iNtuitive Feeler Perceiver -- based on the Myers-Briggs Type Assessment which was inspired by Carl Jung's theories and psychological studies).

If you get sparked by new interests and ideas ALL THE TIME... but worry that you don't stick with anything long enough because newer interests distract you and you have trouble finishing everything you start.  Or, if you can't really make up your mind what you'd like to "be when you grow up"! ... you may be an INFP.

Here's a free assessment:  http://www.keirsey.com/default.aspx  Click on the button at the top to TAKE THE KTS-II (or Click to take the Sorter). Then be sure to write down the 4-letter results.

IMPORTANT:  Try to answer the questions while you're in the mindset of remembering a time when you were doing things you enjoyed, either at work or at play.

If you come out as INFP, INFJ, ENFP, ENFJ or even if you get a result that says you're a Thinker in the Introverted iNtuitive quadrant, you may be a combination type.  I find many INFPs report cross-over traits with the INTP but that the INTP often doesn't quite ring true for them, when they dig deeper into the profiles.

This is a launch blog for my True Calling$ Career Discovery Program for disheartened Creative, Intuitive, Visionary types who find it hard to get passionate about their jobs and careers and who want to find meaningful and engaging work that has lots of new learning, variety and challenge.

Stay tuned, more to come ... help is on the way!
